‘Serene Quaran-Team Social Distancing Balcony Dance Party’
Join in the fun from your living room each week with Serene Living!
Clap and dance along with the Serene Quaran-Team Dance Party – Keeping Residents Clean & Lean Through Covid-19, for fun and fitness during this Global Pandemic.
Each Friday the Serene Quaran-Team host a social-distancing choreographed Dance Party for all of their over 55’s residents to enjoy some sunshine, exercise and humour from their balconies. Residents are encouraged to participate for physical and mental well being, and social connection, and many have taken the Dance Party one step further and love the opportunity to dress up for the occasion!
With Tweed Heads Public Hospital across the road, residents have also expressed their thanks and respect to all of those health workers doing their part to save lives, with signs hanging over the balconies in support. They hope to put a smile on the hospital workers and patients faces who view the live Dance Party from their hospital windows.
Due to quarantine, there’s no need to miss out on being involved, simply connect online via the Serene Living website each week for new Dance Party footage. In addition to Dance Parties, the Serene Living website also offers step-by-step seniors basic fitness videos to keep your body moving, and other independent activity workshops from arts and craft to memory challenges to keep your mind sharp.
