This month’s ‘Serene Spotlight’ is on  the ‘Serene Library’ – the onsite Serene Living private resident library -a cozy sanctuary to peruse a huge array of titles. 

Why not curl up in the comfortable lounges and armchairs to enjoy a relaxing read under the sunlight, or in the upcoming winter months,  sit by the gorgeous fireplace with a delightful book and blanket.

The Serene Library was re-opened in 2019 with the completion of our ‘The Stellar‘ stage 2 wing addition to our South Gold Coast Retirement Village.  The Serene Library is now twice the size of the previous Library and features a remote controlled sunlight over the lounge area and a gas fireplace perfect for those chilly winter days.

With stunning decor and a brilliant design plan, the walls of the Library and Media Centre feature thousands of books, puzzles, games and DVD’s that residents are welcome to borrow at any time.  You will never run out of books to read or things to do!

The Serene Library is well organised by the Library Committee who ensure that all of the books are cared for and indexed into designated genres, authors and alphabetised for easy browsing.

The committee also organises the purchase of brand new books with money raised, to ensure residents always have new literature on offer, and the latest releases !

So residents, sit back, relax and enjoy the peace, tranquility and comfort of the Serene Library this Autumn!
